Pitching blew it last night. I am not sure what Odorizzi is going to give us.

I was going to give Snitker a pass last night since it was officially Weiss’s decision on Stephens, even though Snitker pulls this same move over and over, but Snitker had to open his mouth and state that “he won’t let Jansen or Iglasis pitch from behind”. 6-5 going into the 9th and you know we are facing Diaz already and you aren’t trying to hold it to a 1 run game? Granted I don’t know if we could hit Diaz but spotting them a 3 piece because you didn’t want to pitch a quality arm is stupid. Atleast you would have forced Diaz into another 3 batters and us get more looks.

Great win. But we can’t celebrate for long because we have the best team in baseball coming in the next 3 days. Gotta stay hot.

Fried vs DeGrom tomorrow

It was a good pitching matchup, too.
We got just enough of Jacob, and Fried got himself out of jams a couple of times.

Since DeGrom has comeback he has given up a total of 5 rbi, 3 have been to Dansby, somehow

That was a great game and overall a great series. If we ha a better manager, we may have swept. Refusing to put in a top arm when behind by just 1 run while playing the division leader late in the season is just beyond stupid. And some people will continue to defend our idiot manager at all cost.

At least the team gets the soft serve ice cream machine back! Although, I'd like to ask why the organization would take the machine away in the first place.
