I liked that one too.

I also enjoyed Journeyman and Life.
Journeyman was a good show as well..Another show I really got into & loved was Fringe, I usually don't get into the "Sci-Fi" type shows, but, Fringe was a really really awesome show..I wish it wasn't cancelled, at least they allowed the show to play out to a finish, which is unusual in this day & age of television..

I also love Alf, I've been watching Alf's reruns on the Hub Channel, my girls love it as well, Alf is so corny that he's freaking hilarious..

Human Target

Strange Luck
For whatever reason, I couldn't really get into The Human Target. I agree completely about the other two, though. Those were great shows. Whenever I see something with D.B. Sweeny or Frances Fisher in it, it reminds me of Strange Luck and it still aggravates me that it was cancelled.

it always amazes me how these networks will pull the plug on some shows quickly, while others linger around despite being terrible. some shows get no chance while others get to stick around for several years despite low ratings.

I had to google D.B. Sweeny to find the name of it, because I couldn't remember the name. This show had so much potential and they could have done crossover episodes with the X-Files (Mulder's name was mentioned in an episode).

I guess I'm too nostalgic... all the shows I really want to see come back have deceased main characters. :eek2: Andy Griffith Show, The Virginian, Rawhide...the list goes on.

Those were good times when Strange Luck and The X-files were both on the air.

They are still around in syndication. I've watched some old Bonanza episodes which were very well done. The acting and set design "back then" was remarkable, all things considered.

Too much emphasis now on special effects and comedy based on sheer stupidity.

Of course there are some exceptions (The Big Bang Theory).

All about syndication. There is a magic number of episodes to get to. So if a show is on for 2-3 years, they stretch it to another year to add on more episodes.

Some networks pull the plug faster than others. I hate how FOX does this.
