Over 35 years, my wife has gone over to the Tide from Ole Miss... :)
Mine was a Miss. State fan (her father and brother graduated from there) so it was really just loyalty to her family. Married her. Never talked "bad" about MSU, started taking her to some Bama games, tailgated with Bama friends, and after a few years she was wearing crimson, houndstooth and yelling RTR.

Congrats on that Earle! My wife of 36 years has now come over from the dark side (AU)
That, my friend, is what I'd call "conversion." It's rare to see anyone change from Bama or Auburn.

Let me say that my wifes family is all au fans and hate Bama. When my oldest son decided to go to Alabama My father in law didn't like it. My son got two scholarship offers from Vanderbilt and Alabama. The Alabama offer was way better then vanderbilt and also he wanted to go Alabama. The offer from Vanderbilt was just 50 percent of cost but if you look at it was still a lot of money. My Father in law hates Alabama so much he told my son he would pay the difference if he went to vanderbilt instead of Alabama.
My son decided on Alabama which burned up the whole inlaws and they all blame me.☺

Let me say this when it comes to education on matter what school my son went to I would support him. It is way more important that he gets the best that we could afford. Vanderbilt is a fine institution and would be proud that my son went their.

As a minister I would tell HS students to pick the school that they can AFFORD and cheer for whomever they desire. I would even recommend going to Juco or Community college and then transferring rather than running up huge college debts. I have seen way too many families hamstrung for life due to their student loans.

I'm not so sure Florida will see Bennett at QB. Word is, Kirby has given up the cowboy look and hung the Stetson on the hat rack.
I’ll believe it when I see it. Plus I’m not so sure Daniels is that much better. He did transfer from USC...AKA the royalty of a league of Mickey Mouse teams. I remember the last big name to make the big move from Pac 12 to SEC... Jeremiah Masoli.

UF has a real chance to beat UGA - assuming they can field a team in this COVID environment....
It’s amazing that only a handful of folks on here saw Georgia for what they were by actually watching them play. Usually I would let it go after 24 hrs, but good lord the amount of eeyoring and Kirby love can’t all week and during the game just can’t be let go so soon.

About one more loss To Alabama, and Kirby will be encouraged to look elsewhere.
Then Ga and Au will be in a bidding war for Hugh Freeze.
Winner gets Freeze and the entire NCAA Investigation squad.
