LSU start time?

So do we know or have speculation as to the LSU start time? I have a performance that evening, so I am really hoping for CBS. I still would be able to catch at least the second half if it were a night game.

CBS kickoff at 2:30

My daughter marches down the aisle on her wedding day at 2:00 PM with reception and sit down dinner following. I'll have to watch replay of the game but for what this wedding is costing me I want to see it.

Re: LSU start time?

So far as I know, it's still undetermined at this time. I'd think either 2:30 CDT CBS or 6:45 CDT ESPN. No chance for 11:30...

Re: LSU start time?

I only checked Rodney's schedule, which he usually keeps up to date, and it said TBA. I don't know what the competition is that day. I hope the UA/AU game doesn't end up being PPV... :D

Re: LSU start time?

If CA's schedule is correct, I can't see their taking UGA/KY over us for 2:30, not with the Saban factor, etc. Looks like 2:30...

Re: LSU start time?

heard gary danielson being interviewed on ESPN radio last week listing the next 3 games he is doing and how jealous everyone should be:

LSU/UGA
UGA/UF
and
LSU/Bama.

I am betting 2:30.

I think both you and your daughter should recheck your priorities. Having a wedding on a Saturday during college football season? Especially on a big rivalry day? Unacceptable!

I told mine not to expect me or my support during football season, unless Bama is off.

Re: LSU start time?

I am sure that is the most appealing game of the day. The question is what is the chance of ESPN using one of their times picking first? Sounds like from the posts here that won't be happening.

Re: LSU start time?

Usually I believe LSU plays so much better under the lights at their place. So getting a day game against LSU benefits Bama SOOOO much. I would prefer the day game over the night game anyways.

Re: LSU start time?

I hope it's the CBS game, because LSU just doesn't seem to be the same team under sunshine, but that makes it 9:30 AM for me. That's pretty early to to pop the top on "Shock Tops" and down the cheeseburgers, but a small price to pay.
By the way, where are all of our friendly lsu posters who adamantly defended the coaching prowess of les miles at this time last year? Hello? Waiting...

Re: LSU start time?

I would think we would have a good chance at Gameday. They hadn't been to LSU this year (that I can think of) and this basically decides who wins the SEC West. I would think they would, but you never know. Maybe they are getting tired of coming to a Bama game? Haha. (Clemson, UGA)

Re: LSU start time?

I hate it for Bayou, but I'd prefer the 2:30 time also. I think the LSU stadium won't be quite as rowdy. Of course, once we're up 31-0 at the half, it won't matter...
