Center J'Mison Morgan Commits to LSU

Morgan, who is a five star Center that will qualify will announce his decision on November 2nd.

He has already visited Kansas, UCLA, and LSU. He mentioned he will take two more visits with Bama definitely being one of them (Visit 9/28/07).

Bama is definitely in the mix and he seems to really have no leaders. Our staff and has done a great job and can't wait to get him on campus.

That sounds great but wouldn't it be better for him to visit on a weekend when we have a home game?

An official visit for this weekend might be difficult with our team and coaches in Jacksonville. :conf2: :BigA:

MG has definetly stepped it up on the recruiting trail this year. With RS being out he can develop other leaders on the team and should reap benefits next year.

Though he is a basketball recruit, a football weekend still generally makes a difference. You hear a lot of recruits that commit to certain schools talk about the fans in general (football games). However, this is the hottest recruit in the country by far and getting him on campus is more than a bonus.

And don't worry about Gottfried, you can question his coaching, but he is a Saban like recruiter.

It would seem to me that itwould be a good idea to plan this visit around a great athletic event like a football game, attend a basketball practice (better yet a basketball game) with a beautiful escort to guide him around and explain all the nuances of the academics facilities in this athletic heaven. Cha-ching

J'Mison Morgan would be a HUGE addition to the Crimson Tide. Bama already has a somewhat thin frontcourt and if he commits along with JaMychal Green already committed, Bama basketball will be great the next few years.

I almost spit up my coffee! This is great news and I am assuming that this is one of the guys that rivals is talking about when they stated that two of the nations best players will be in T-town this weekend. Anybody know the other one?

Wow, that is two Big Men right there. Wouldn't mind having either one of them, but scholarships are pretty tight. Should be interesting!:)
