The Tennessee secondary and pass defense haven’t exactly been exposed, but there’s a problem.

Taylen Green of Arkansas went off for 279 yards, and the combination of Graham Mertz and DJ Lagway cranked up 223 yards for Florida and hit the Vol D for the first multi-touchdown pass game of the year.

Alabama might be struggling, but it can still bomb away. The Tennessee offense will perk back up, but Milroe will be fantastic in a blast of a game that won’t take a back seat to anything in the SEC, including that tussle in Austin.

Alabama vs Tennessee Prediction, Game Preview, and Betting Lines

I'll take it!

This is a totally different Tennessee than the 2022 variant. They want to run the ball and play defense. Normally I would say “Bama is built to beat teams like this”, but I don’t know if that’s the case anymore. I’m firmly on the fence about this game.

Both teams are so hot-n-cold that it's impossible to predict - it could be a knife fight or one team might outscore the other by three TDs. Just no way to know which team (if either) will 'click'.

Does our D make Imaleava look like a Heisman candidate?

Does Milroe make bad decisions in a hostile environment?

Do we rush four repeatedly and get no pressure?

or

Do we generate a few turnovers?

Does Milroe play better and make better decisions?

Do we finally blitz more frequently, get some pressure, force some bad throws?

WHO KNOWS....we could get blown out.....we could blow them out....we could both score in the 20's or both score in the 40's.

Im not worried about the offense, just the defense
