CFN SEC Fearless Predictions Week 5

I like how they say Clemson had a shaky offensive line while ignoring UGA's inexperienced line, including a true freshman starting at center against our best D lineman. Clemson could very well have a better line. Stafford is a fine QB, but nobody is good without time to throw. Moreno is a great RB, but unless he's a Barry Sander's clone, he will need some space. Good luck with that.

They are starting a freshman at center and had to shuffle the line when Trinton Sturdivant went down. I think our D-Line will expose their weaknesses on the O-Line. The battle is won upfront and I believe our OL & DL can do the job against UGA. You can have the best QB and RB combo in the nation, but if the QB doesn't have time to throw and the RB doesn't have lanes to run through you're toast.

If I was Georgia, I would do a ton of RB and WR screens, one step drop passes with slants and hook patterns, and pitch runs to the weak side. If I was Stafford, I would request more rollouts and absolutely whine about any seven step drop passes that are called.

I would be curious to see if CFN's staff changed any after scout.com bought them. THey just don't seem like the same. They use to make the occassional tough pick and they put alot more thought (and research) into their prognostications. Maybe it is just my crimson colored glasses:eek2::):BigA:

ga has excellent athletes at each position. stafford has a quick release, and probably will throw a lot of underneath plays like arks and clemson had to go to. the difference is they have moreno, who is not a ordinary back. he will help stafford quite a bit on screens, bail outs with a rush. i like our chances in this game.

I can see them calling UGA by 7 thats the line. I think we will have to play a really good game and stay close and pull it out late. The key is we can do it. Of that i have no doubt.
