In addition to having the bye, Arizona state has won 5 of their 11 wins by one score. They're used to playing in tight/high pressure games. Texas only has one single score wins this season (vs. Vandy). That kind of stuff matters.

Maybe by previous years standards. Georgia is the class of the conference. They will be for a while. Texas beat nobody. Ole Miss is great, but Kiffin loses games with his analytics.

Horrible clock management by UT. Throw 2 incomplete passes and only run 9 seconds off the clock, then miss the FG. Coaches sometimes are as dumb as fans.

I’ve been working on a theory. I just did not think it would manifest this quickly.

Portal, NIL being straight up old school Southwest Conference buying players, and the fact that generally speaking, southern states aren’t as “rich” as midwestern and western states, (except oil money Texas)…

The talent has been dispersed and it’s not landing at SEC schools in as great of numbers.
