They could lose more. I saw the struggles this season. Boston College and Wake Forest weren’t anomalies, they were real. VT isn’t all that good like everyone wants to believe. Auburn? Same.

And Bryant is good, but he's no Watson.

And at this point, there's not telling how long it will before his ankle is healthy, not to mention how long it might be before he's medically cleared to play after that concussion. I've seen guys who weren't knocked out held out for several weeks before.

I am happy for Syracuse but I still think Clemson will bounce back and make the playoffs and even make it to the championship game. This may be their turning point (as long as Kelly Bryant stays healthy they will). With us having a tough game v Texas AM and now Clemson losing, I hope our team is ready to mentally focus and dominate the rest of the season.

I still have concerns, though, about our passing game versus good defenses such as LSU and Auburn. Jalen needs to make those mid to long range passes (especially passes of 20 yards or more) like the QB's in this game did last night. Dungey had some good throws. Jalen is 1 for 18 on throws 20 plus yards or more. I realize some of that is the receiver's fault and O line fault, but everyone needs to come together to make that happen. If the offense can't do that, I think Auburn could beat us and we won't get the chance to play UGA or make it to playoffs. Jalen has a chance to practice his long balls the next 2 weeks so I hope Daboll lets that happen.
