John Grass at Jacksonville State is stepping down. He has a 71-26 record in 8 seasons there, a one-time FCS runner-up, and multiple OVC championships.

JSU has announced a move from the FCS to FBS and into what's left of the CUSA.

I'd say right now its boiling. At the least I think he is forced to make major staff changes after the season is over and will have to win at least 9 games next year to survive.

They were a power in FCS, winning a championship in 1998. They were a football only member of the MAC when they joined FBS. The MAC asked them to join full time but they declined so that left them out in the cold.
