It's been a long long time since i have posted on this thread, but here it goes.

Hopefully you are familiar with the buy or sell segment they do on around the horn, if not i'll explain. Someone makes a topic and then the next person has to buy (agree) or sell (disagree), then that person makes their own topic. Each person that answers a topic should make a new topic and so on and so forth. The person answering the topic should also answer the topic above them, if not, specify. it goes best if everyone just answers one topic then come up with another topic, then the next person answers that next topic. DON'T ANSWER YOUR OWN TOPIC.

Here's a couple of examples.

Buy or Sell: Bobby Bowden steps down at the end of the year.

(New Person): Buy, he steps down due to the losses that were taken away.
Buy or Sell: Alabama finishes the regular season 12-0 again.

etc, etc,

This is just something fun to do during the off-season. This doesn't have to be Alabama or SEC related, it can and hopefully will be national as well as SEC/Bama. I'll start off.

Buy or Sell: Florida has at least one upset loss this season, keeping them from a perfect season.

Sell: I'm not buying the hype just yet. Ole Miss got lucky with FL last year.
Buy or Sell: LSU is the favorite to win the west (SEC) next year.

Buy. I really think this Ole Miss team will be pretty good. I think it comes down to us and them. I think what makes them really legit is that they will have all of their biggest games at home.

Buy or Sell: Kentucky beats Auburn on the plains this year

I buy that Florida has a loss somewhere on the schedule. Tebow has been THE program at UF and I firmly believe that. Last I checked, they've lost games every year he's been there.

I will sell Ole Miss being a contender in the SEC. In the west, it better be UA or LSU to compete with UF, because the Ole Miss win last year was a statistical anomaly.

Buy! I don't know a thing about Kentucky talent this year, but I just don't think anyone has a real idea of how bare the cupboard is at AU this year. I may be wrong but I really think Aub could have a meltdown of Chernobyl proportions!

Buy or Sell: Kiffin wins more than 4 games this year.

Buy. I think Tennessee gets to 7-5 but with some major beatdowns thrown in.

Sell: FSU struggles but Bowden lives to fight another year...
Buy or Sell: The top ten preseason polls turn out to be as bad as ever for 2009.

Sell - SOS, different year. Once again they'll insist on ranking Notre Dame waaay too high, but this year ND, with its ridiculous schedule will make them look good for most of the season until USC bursts their bubble and then they get humbled in a bowl again.

Sell - Meeechigan shows a lot of progress in Rich Rod's second year?

Buy- I think South Carolina has a real shot to finish ahead of Tennessee. I do not know enough about Kentucky to say one way or another!

Buy- Florida may end up with two losses this year!

Sell. If anyone beats Florida, it will be Bama in the SECCG or @ LSU. And that is only if LSU or Bama have their QB situations ironed out. I think Bama does...I don't know about LSU though. No one else has the talent to do it. I don't see Florida losing twice. I don't think that anyone out of conference will have the talent to beat Florida.

Buy or sell: Vanderbilt will go to a bowl game again.

I'm buying that Florida has one loss or more.

I'm selling that Kentucky beats Auburn on the plains. (See AU vs UT in 2008)

I'm selling that Ole Miss is as good as hyped, but they will definitely give Bama all they want in the game in Oxford.

Finally, I'm buying that South Carolina beats UT in the standings at the end of the year.

Sell - Vandy may be the only team in America capable of starting out 5 - 0 and missing out on a bowl invitation.

Buy or Sell - Urban Meyer will leave Florida after this season with Tebow graduating and his immediate prospects for future MNCs greatly diminished...

sell - I think Weiss wins just enough games to keep his job another couple of years.

Buy or Sell - ol' sis finds out the hard way what it's like to try and play in the SEC when your previous coach didn't recruit any offensive line depth.

Sell - I think that they make come up one short, but I can see it as a possibility with their weak schedule.

Buy or Sell - Trent Richardson becomes our #1 option a RB by the end of the season.

Buy. I think Ole Miss is very overrated right now, not only because of the issue you list, but also because Nutt always loses a couple he shouldn't. They'll upset someone (hopefully not us), but they will lose a game they shouldn't as well.

Buy or Sell - Oklahoma repeats as Big XII champions and plays for the NC again with a high flying offense and an average defense.
