True but the narrative is “they ran all over us” when it really was death by a thousand cuts…

They discuss this in their video. How it was really the efficient passing game that got us last year. They also acknowledge that the competition they’ve faced versus what we’ve faced is quite different, so the model is skewed.

Vandy put a number on us last year. I recall a number of times in that game where Pavia much like Manziel before him threw up a prayer just before getting creamed and every one of them landed in stride with their receiver. It was just like Manziel and everyone assumed Manziel would repeat that after pulling off his legendary win but the following season not all of them landed as before. Can Pavia repeat the magic? I don't know. I also know that offensively Milro was just a feast or famine type QB. There was no team that could defend him, but there was no team that couldn't stop him. It was maddening and I for one hated it. I just feel you can't build success with inconsistency. I'm hoping that the offense under Ty can put together long drives that end with points and reduce our defensive exposure. No doubt however. We will have to get some stops on 3rd down.
