Just to add to the discussion - The vaunted Dave Wannstedt led Pitt Panthers lost to Ohio University 16-10 in OT.

Speaking of Notre Dame, who is this Charlie Weise (their new coach)? Where did ne come from and what happened to their former coach, WIllingham (I think)?

He was offensive coordinator for the New England Patriots.

Willingham is head coach at U of Washington i think.

In a way I'm glad we are not higher this week. A higher ranking will come after we win against South Carolina.

Maybe, depending on who else in front of you loses. Not likely that you would move up much just because you beat an unranked opponent.

Player, I hope he wins it. (Quinn) I just don't care for nd and I hate the way the media treats them. This goes back a long time built up over the seasons. They have a good coach and a nice team, but didn't treat their last coach very well. He also started his 1st season well. If we had beaten Pitt and Michigan (Runing back played 1 series for Michigan) no one would see us #10. My $00.02

Bama opened poorly against two bottom feeders. The argument is moot. Movement above doesn't matter when you are at the bottom.
