They aren't winning the Super Bowl. They are on a 3 game losing streak and now sit at 8-5. They have a 2 game lead and look to make the playoffs as maybe a 7 or 8 seed.....but they've got to win again.

Their remaining schedule:
at Seattle (10-3) (#2 scoring D behind Texans....17.4 ppg)
vs San Francisco (9-4)
vs Jacksonville (9-4) (best rushing defense in the league.....83 ypg)
at Houston (8-5) (best defense in the league....266 ypg)

If Rivers can come in and lead them to 2-2 in those 4 games, give him an award. 1-3 probably gets them in the playoffs to play a road game vs maybe the Patriots or the Jaguars.

But sure, if they win the Super Bowl........Kurt Warner got Zachary Levi......Phillip Rivers maybe gets Chris Pratt or a chubby Alexander Skarsgard.

He's been running the same offensive system at St. Michael's High School with his son as QB. Talking regularly with the Colts OC, with whom he's got a long football history with as well.

That's one reason they got him....yeah he knows how to QB.....but he's the only guy out there that could come him with experience on the field AND knowledge, experience in their offensive system.
