Before the game I was quietly confident the Tide would win. By halftime I had some misgivings until I saw Coach Saban's face -- boy, would I love to have been a fly on the wall in the locker room at halftime. I bet the air was more than blue!! By the end of the third quarter I was beginning to see improvement and Mallett was definitely not playing as well. The fourth quarter was more to the standard of Tide play. Phew, glad that one's over.

I made the incredibly long drive this weekend, and I have to tell you what a great time we had in Fayetteville. The people were very friendly...even the drunk frat boys. We had several people stop us on the way to RRS and welcome us.

After the game, we headed to Dickson street to watch the Auburn game. Ended up in a place called Stir and had a blast. The bartender, Tyler, was awesome.

Also..if I'm ever in the market for another wife, Fayetteville is on my list. Women...wow. I figured out why they all had great legs...everywhere you walk is uphill.

At any rate, I will definitely be making that trip again. Thanks for the hospitality. I'm now a Hogs fan until we play you guys again!
