While being very happy at the Sooners performance last night, I can't help but feel like we didn't get the best Bama had to offer. We can all talk about how you have to regroup and battle back after a tough loss, but I think your kids were disappointed having to play the Sooners.

I can't disagree more. Your team came in prepared, focused and played lights out. I actually believe our team came in the same way but got back on their heels, by the time they recovered mistakes and continued good play by your team killed the chances to come back.

Much respect for they way your team played.

A lot of OU fans have felt the same way for the past few years......at least since the great 2008 team. However, he made some dramatic changes after last year, firing three coaches, allowing Venables to matriculate to Clemson & then completely revamping both our O & D schemes. This season was thought to be a rebuilding one, especially starting a new QB, but after the road win in South Bend, it looked like we just might be ahead of schedule. Then the injuries.....losing Cory Nelson and Jordan Phillips right before the Texas game was devastating. UT ran right at our true freshman MLB and RSF nose tackle & with Knight not fully recovered from his injury, we had a terrible O game plan for Bell.

The injuries kept coming, including a second co-captain (Trey Millard), and even @ full strength I don't think we beat Baylor in Waco but the youngsters kept getting experience and Knight came back and seemed to gain his confidence and composure. Then he gets hurt again vs OSU & Bob kicks our starting RB off the team, but Bell comes in and bails us out. We only lose 2 off the D & we will plug Trey Darlington in @ Center with the rest of the line pretty much back. We lose Saunders but some great WR's waiting in the wings. I think we have a shot at the 4 team playoff and yes, hopefully another classic vs the Tide.

I would also like to offer congrats to OU. For 3 out of the 4 quarters you outplayed us in every facet of the game. You played hard, fast and deserved to win the game.

Props to OU. In every interaction I have with you guys, be it Norman, T-Town, or New Orleans, the fans are always a first class bunch. Great game. Good luck next year.

Had to cheer for the Sooners me being an OU grad and all, but Bama is and will always be my second favorite team. Partied with some Bama fans before and a few afterward. Nothing but class all the way. Alabama has to be classiest fan base in College football. Roll Tide and Boomer Sooner. Crimson brothers forever.
