I'll say this. A&M's conditioning must be very good. I remember they had had no bye weeks when they played us, and it didn't look like they were phased by that at all. Tonight, their defense was on the field for nearly 50 plays in that first half, and it's OU's defense that looks exhausted right now.

I still don't understand why a team would rather have a dropback qb than one who can run or pass.
Depends on the offense that you want to run. In the NFL, can you name the last scrambler that won a championship?

As good as A&M's oline is playing tonight a dropback passer would work just fine. OU's dline is getting crushed.
I'm trying to recall the last time I saw this level of pass protection against a good defense and I'm drawing a blank, honestly. The time he has on some plays is utterly amazing, literally.
