Coward don't like Alabama. We are boring to him because all we do is win...
We are boring to him because we don't throw the ball 60 times a game.
We are boring to Coward because we play Defense. Its hard for the other team to score 60 pts. when we shut down their Offense.
We are boring to Coward when we run it up the middle until we wear em out and pull away later in the game.
We are boring to Coward when our players are disciplined and don't participate in on the field antics.
We are boring to him because we play Old School Football, like big boys. Our Offense is old fashioned, but seems to win,win,win...

DOES ANYBODY REALLY CARE WHAT COWARD LIKES?
(I'll take a boring win over an exciting loss any day...)

DUH...

All I will say is ESPN canned him and he now works for the WORST sports network on TV. They absolutely destroyed the US Open last year and their live coverage other than NFL and racing is horrible.

Well, he should know boring when he sees it I suppose.

Just to make sure I'm clear: A guy who makes his living talking about sports, droning on and on endlessly about subjects of which he really knows very little, asking full grown veteran coaches and players 3rd grade level questions to fill up a time slot, has declared that watching Alabama actually play football is boring. Makes perfect sense.

Cowherd is a clown. One of those guys who just says things to generate interest. Nobody is watching him now that he's on Fox so he's just trying to spice it up.

And I think Cowherd really cost himself by moving to Fox Sports from ESPN, I know one reason was due to the fact that Fox Sports is located in Los Angeles, and he's really high on that.

Remember, Cowherd is a mouthpiece that needs to irritate people to generate opinions. I've also heard him say in the past that if you wanted to go to the NFL, you should go to Alabama. The dude will say anything to generate an opinion, he doesn't care of the potential consequences b/c to be frank, he hasn't suffered at all.

I think ESPN fired him, in order to save money, and I think he only had listeners because it was ESPN. IOW, I don't think he had a choice in the matter. But I don't know any of that for sure.

He's just a contrarian hack that was able to make himself sound more intelligent than he really is. Nothing more.

They fired him after he said essentially that baseball wasn't complicated because half the league was made up of Dominicans and Dominicans were stupid. That could have been a last straw of sorts I suppose. Your last sentence describing him is dead on the mark IMO.

ESPN has had a bad year. Their total subscriber numbers have been going down throughout the year as droves of non-sports watchers are cutting cable and moving to online streaming services. They canned or let the contracts expire for some of their most expensive on-air talent (Simmons and Cowherd for example) and deadlined their universally well-received Grantland news site that employed a lot of writers. They're taking on a "trim the fat" mentality and that is why we're enjoying these new low-rent clowns specifically in college football coverage.

Honestly, ESPN has been sorely in need for an over-the-top offering to get in on the cable-cutter movement but the mother company (Disney) is fearful of what will come of all their networks if ESPN can't keep people tethered to Comcast, Charter, etc.

I think that gave them cover to fire him. Well, I guess what I'm saying is they wanted to fire him regardless but it became easy after that one.

It isn't complicated: throw the ball, see the ball, hit the ball, catch the ball, and throw it again.

So simple even guys like me can play it. Except for the fact I have no depth perception. Really simple game.

Although not as simple as bocce ball, but I digress.

Still, Clownherd is a schmuck.
