Again...to all the naysayers, I do PA for Ocean Springs High School Football.

I know Deandre Brown pretty well and it's still wide open. He likes CNS a lot.

LSU fans like to boast that he's an "LSU LOCK".

But I had to smile.......

Friday night when Ocean Springs played Gulfport his grandmother was wearing an Alabama jersey.

Saw it myself guys and gals.

Go Grandma go!!! Send him in the right direction!

Deandre does very well on core curriculum.
He hasn't done so well on the ACT.
But he's working his butt off with every tutorial class he can take.
The A.D. at OS told me he thinks he's getting very close.
There's nothing he wants more than to play college football at the major college level.
I think he'll qualify. I truly do.
He's a great kid and a very determined young man.
Pull for him.

If anybody does take down Panola, it should be this year. They haven't dominated teams like they have the past 4 years, but they still are riding about a 68 or 69 game winning streak. As far as Lawrence, he was interested in Bama, but wasn't offered. Ole Miss and Miss St have both offered but he really hasn't mentioned a favorite. "Tookie" is a great athlete but I have no idea who, if anybody, has offered him.

...same here - i saw jordan play right field one night and he looked like a gazelle among a bunch of mule deer - i remember thinking he looked like a greek god, just the way he carried himself

...couldn't hit worth a flip, though

I think either GC or OS will play SP for the state championship. Thanks for the compliment on our athletic program. FWIW, GC should be alot better next year than this year. Not losing many players or playmakers.

Keep us updated on Deandre and his grandmother's jersey!

His stats don't look so great because his coach refuses to give him the ball...but consider this..
He was named "Outstanding Player" by Rivals.com at LSU's and Auburn's Camps..
He's so far above every athlete in America it's not even funny.
I'll catch some flack here from the "Julio" fans.
But before the ax falls...I've seen Julio play four times. He's absolutely phenomenal.
I pray every night that he commits to Bama. We need him.
He is without a doubt the second best prospect in all of America.
But I've watched Deandre for four years.
Best I've ever seen. He's LeBraun. A mutant.
Let's put it this way...
How many 6'7" 230 pound kids have you ever seen that won the state 100 meters in the state of Mississippi......in the ninth grade????
I honestly think we have a chance.
We'll just have to wait and see.
