Biden said that no one had requested additional security at the consulate in Benghazi. Yet, such a request had been forwarded to DC in June.
Either he and his boss are incompetent or is aware and are lying to cover up that incompetence. Neither bodes well for their competence for the offices they seek.

And this comment has nothing to do with how he said it. It is solely based on what he said.

I would like to sit with you and have a few Shirley Temple's (easy on the grenadine)...You are like a walking talking Stephen Hawking Historian!

Romney looking strong in Florida, Virginia, and New Hampshire.

Not sure I agree with your statement concerning Virginia and New Hampshire, but according to this RealClearPolitics aggregator, he's definitely looking good in Florida, which is certainly the most important of the swing-states. Also looking good in North Carolina, Missouri, and Colorado.

For what it's worth, if FL, NC, MO, and CO are the only four swing states Romney pulls, we're looking at a second term for Obama, as Romney would still fall short by 26 Electoral Votes (EV). The addition of New Hampshire and Virginia alone won't do it for him (still 9 short). Forget about NH. Romney needs to carry Ohio (the next most likely that he could take with 18EV) and Virginia (13EV). Pull out all the stops in those two states.

Which I think he'll do easily. Lots of folks would probably want to concede Ohio to Obama because it's a strong union state. But it's also a strong mining state and lots of miners have lost their jobs recently as many of the coal-firing plants there have been shut down. As a result, the local economies took a big hit. Union or no, when your shop is shut down and you aren't drawing a paycheck, the union bosses don't exactly come around every week offering to pay your bills.

And as Bill Clinton once so eloquently put it..."It's the economy, stupid"

Of early voters in Ohio, Obama is up 64% to 33%. Not the best numbers for Governor Romney.

What did the VP mean last night when discussing Benghazi?

If Mitt wins I fear the U.S. will start nation building all over again in the Middle east, while our nation's infrastructure falls apart.

Biden had just been hammering away at right Ryan about military buildup. I did not follow up to the people that replied. Saying something bad about the GOP is not trolling.

Well then allow me to retort. Why is it that you feel our nation's infrastructure will fall apart and the US will start nation building all over again if Mitt were to win the election.?

Because Obama spent 800 billions dollars when he first took office on infrastructure to only move it to save union jobs. Now he wants us to think he will actually spend the money on infrastructure so we should give him another 800 billion because he cares about you and me. ;)

Biden said we (Obama and Biden) didn't know about the request not no one had requested additional security Big difference. BTW I have really enjoyed your informative posts in the slavery thread.

And that is why Tidewater said if they didn't know then they are incompetent, which just so happens to be the truth. By the way, don't try to cut the man down then butt kiss in the same post. It's not becoming of you. ;)

Pieces of transcript from last night.

Biden- But we are leaving. We are leaving in 2014. Period. And in the process, we’re going to be saving over the next 10 years another $800 billion. We’ve been in this war for over a decade. The primary objective is almost completed. Now, all we’re doing is putting the Kabul government in a position to be able to maintain their own security.

It’s their responsibility, not America’s.

RYAN: We’re sending fewer people out in all of these hotspots to do the same job that they were supposed to do a month ago.

BIDEN: Because we turned it over...

BIDEN: That’s right, because that’s the Afghan responsibility. We’ve trained them.
RYAN: Not in the east.

RYAN: No. We are already sending Americans to do the job, but fewer of them. That’s the whole problem.

BIDEN: That’s right. We’re sending in more Afghans to do the job, Afghans to do the job.

RADDATZ: What’s your criteria for intervention?

BIDEN: Yeah. RYAN: In Syria?

RADDATZ: Worldwide.

RYAN: What is in the national interests of the American people.

RADDATZ: How about humanitarian interests?

RYAN: What is in the national security of the American people. It’s got to be in the strategic national interests of our country.

RADDATZ: No humanitarian?

RYAN: Each situation will -- will come up with its own set of circumstances, but putting American troops on the ground? That’s got to be within the national security interests of the American people.

It hasn't been turned over. If it has then why are more Americans dying under Obama's time in office than Bush's? If we were turning it over then wouldn't we start having less casualities? Just another Obama/Biden lie to consider before pulling that lever.

I was accused of trolling. I never said Biden was right. Remember when half the middle east was blowing up last month and I said Obama would do nothing? No one said ole poker player was trolling then.

Tidewater and Swoop touch on this above, but I thought I'd chime in on the matter with a couple of specific questions:

+ Do you think a CEO is accountable for the actions/inactions of his organization?
+ Do you think the President & Vice President of the United States should know a little something about national security threats and the potential for terrorist activity?
