That was my first thought when I saw people on this board goin' on about thinking Trump was better in the area of the economy. Dangerous people shouldn't be elected President. They shouldn't be in high office. Demagogues who use economic woes as a step up and then proceed to villainize every group they think wants to hear it, stirring them up and encouraging the hatred, splitting their own nation up are not new. What's happening now reeks of the same thing.
For those who believe that Biden, or any President in a single term, is responsible for inflation, the price of gas and on an on is being delusional. I mean what did anyone believe would happen with the Federal Reserve reducing interest rates to practically zero for two decades and effectively printing money in the trillions along with Congress borrowing money to reduce taxes on the wealthy. Did they not expect the downstream affects that we are seeing now?

Even highly respected, experienced economists have a hard time predicting future outcomes and dissecting precisely what happened previously. There are too many factors in the models and they're never the same.

How much more can the GOP decline?

We will see over the next 6-7 months. Were it not appallingly pathetic it would be hilarious. The "law and order" party?! tRump, Johnson, MTG, et al can not be allowed access to governmental power.

First, vote them out of office. Then let legal processes do what they should when applicable.

Without fear or favor.

Nice sentiment, but there’s not much I can do to vote them out living in Alabama. The Democrats aren’t even fielding a candidate in my district. (AL-3).

Texas education leaders unveil Bible-infused elementary school curriculum
The proposed curriculum overhaul was released a week after the Texas GOP proposed requiring the Bible to be taught in public schools. School districts that opt to use them will get more funding.

Elementary school curriculum proposed this week would infuse new state reading and language arts lessons with teachings on the Bible, marking the latest push by Texas Republicans to put more Christianity in public schools.

The Texas Education Agency released the thousands of pages of educational materials this week. They have been made available for public viewing and feedback and, if approved by the State Board of Education in November, will be available for public schools to roll out in August of 2025. Districts will have the option of whether to use the materials, but will be incentivized to do so with up to $60 per student in additional funding.
