Demeco doesn't make Pro Bowl ???

Demeco did not make the AFC pro bowl roster. Get this, Al Wilson is the starting MLB. Zach Thomas leads the league in tackles w/ 141 total and 83 solo and he is the reserve behind Wilson. Demeco is 2nd with 137 total tackles, 112 of which are solo. Al Wilson checks in ranked #27 with 95 total tackles an 75 solo. Demeco deserves to be in the Pro Bowl. He's the only player listed with over 100 solo tackles. I know I'm biased, but I think this is a big mistake. This is a load of crap!

That is why I never watch the Pro Bowl. When someone really deserves to go someone with half the effort goes. Not worth watching. The game is also lame. The players going through the motions. Dan Marino "The competion between the NFC vs AFC isn't that intense as it once was". No kidding Dan. I will stay with College Football where every game counts. :BigA:

Pro Bowl voting is just a popularity contest. Unless everybody in America knows who you are, you are not going to get in. Pro Bowl voting is for the highlight reel players that the media falls for :mad: . It is unfortunate and he most certainly belongs in the Pro Bowl after the year he has had. He is the heart and soul of the Texans. IMO

Your right, that is a load of crap.
I hope he gets a spot as a reserve, he deserves to go.
I don't think there's anyone better at his position.

DR will be on the roster after a couple of guys decide they can't play for one reason or another . By the time the game arrives DR will possibly have the chance of being a starter .:redface:

Hey, Reggie Wayne has been one of the most productive WRs in the league for years and this is his first pro-bowl! Its all about rep and a little luck.
 
We all know what he has done... Congrats on a heck of a season Demeco we back you 110%. The pro bowl is a farce. The most popular and revenue generating players do not equal the best. Way to make us proud...nuff said!

All "all star" games are a joke, and should be seen as such. The sooner everyone quits taking them seriously, the sooner there will be no hard feelings when your favorite deserving player doesn't make it. And shame on MLB for trying to make their All-Star game "relevant" by tying it to home-field advantage in the playoffs, yet letting the fans vote on it. Either take it out of the fans' hands if it's going to mean something, or give it to the fans and let it be for their enjoyment only....but I digress.........

Meco had a great year, and he'll be a Pro Bowler in his time. No worries.
 
just like the baseball all-star game and nba , it's just a popularity contest. at least in mlb they allow the manager to put players on the team who he thinks are deserving. I don't know if the nfl does this or not.

The fact that he is on an awful team also hurts him. imho

He should be a backup at the very least.

ironically, look at the story under the Pro Bowl snubs......

and seriously, Pro Bowl snubs are nothing new...the 2nd leading receiver in the NFC, the receiver with the most TD catches in the league, the leagues leading tackler, etc. all missed out. But, so it goes with a popularity contest.
