Diego Pavia on Alabama game: 'If we play our game, it won't be close'

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

You have to have confidence no matter what sport you play. My Jr year in basketball, we played a team in a tournament, was overconfident and they upset us. We played them at our place a couple of weeks later. They ran their mouth in the paper talking about how they would do it again at our place. We took our foot off the pedal when we got up by 30. (This was 10+ years before the 3 pointer) We went to their place and beat them by 10+. My senior year, we beat them 2 more times. Their players said the 30+ beating haunted them a year later. Hope last year does not haunt our guys today. Personally, I don’t think it will after last week.

If they use their line and running game to control the line and time of possession, they will win. If we can use our offense to control some clock and finish our drives, we will win. Let's get it on! Roll Tide!

Losing to Bama must have been a rude awakening for Pavia. He was riding cloud nine, thinking it would carry him to gloryland, which he so wanted for himself.
I just can’t get over how big of a tool bag he is. He is gonna be that guy that never mentally graduates college. Heck, he may not ever graduate for real.

Does this L to Bama began a slide for Vanderbilt? They have LSU, Missouri and Shorthorns in the coming weeks.
Shorthorns- does this mean Oklahoma? Of all the the teams you mentioned, I am most concerned with Mizzou. Mainly because they are next, but also because the game is on the road. They are also a very balanced team (though they really have not played anyone)

I think order was restored today and vandy returns to the mean. Which means they go more to the historical vandy than shock the world vandy

Vanderbilt will give Pavia a degree because if not, he’ll lob a lawsuit at them. He will then proceed to take said degree and work at a car wash in New Mexico.
I was at Vanderbilt med center last week for a checkup, the game came up, my Dr. Said it takes 33 on the act to get into Vanderbilt, we both agreed very few players could legitimately get accepted

Pavia will get drafted to the CFL or one of the lower classed leagues. He is a scrapper at the highest level and you have to respect what he has accomplished to this stage. Yea, maybe not as humble as we are supposed to be but dude is still just a kid.
