Possibly all he is being told is that he will be given a fair shot at QB, ala JJ. No harm in that, IMO, and no dishonesty. Give him an honest opportunity, & if it doesn't work out, you've gained an outstanding athlete, & who knows, he could turn out to be the next M. Vick. I've seen some QB's with unorthodox throwing motion, that turned out pretty good. At any rate, I think our coaches were up front with JJ, & his situation turned out pretty well.
