ESPN is acquiring the NFL Network and other National Football League media assets, including the linear rights to the league's popular RedZone channel, in a deal that will see the NFL get a 10% equity stake in the all-sports network, it was announced Tuesday night.

Just read an article about cost of streaming NFL games. To see all the games, you need 7 subscriptions costing around $120/month to be able to see any game. I suspect that figure will climb a bit over the next couple of years.

I don’t like this at all. NFL should have kept the network, kept red zone, and made their own streaming service. They would have made tons of money.
