Hello Can anyone here that knows from first hand experience and
knowledge let us know about where our facilities really and truly rank
among the elite in college football and in the SEC?
I have read and heard many people say and seen on television
what our university has to offer for the future of our football program
but as of late all I keep reading and seeing online are on these recruiting
sources is how 'so and so' says that Miss St.'s facilities are the best  and Duke and
Ark.'s are the greatest :conf3: so what I want to know is from the main insiders on this site is where do we rank among our conference in these in terms of quality and effectiveness. We haven't had these new buildings that long on our campus but from Coach Moore and several of our recruits it seems
that they are at the top. I cannot understand how a someone the size of
our football program not to mention the second largest weightroom in college athletics only behind Nebraska could not be at the top considering the reviews I've heard so far;according to some hear say NFL affiliates.
So my question is could anyone list the best from 1 to 12 in the SEC and the top 25 in the nation. I'm just curious and I'd really love to know. One more
thing does anyone know what the official number is going to be for the # of
added seat capacity on the northern endzone construction additio to Bryant Denny stadium? I've heard 7,500 here and 10,000 other places including the
official Bama athletic site but know one still knows anything. When and where are we gonna here the accurate number and other official info? I'm anxious to know the real answer. Does anyone know the real official number and are we going to get
some smaller jumbo trons in the gaps on that side of the field or not. Whats been happening on that front lately and whats taking so long for those announcements? Any help would be appreciated.

Go join CrimsonTradition.com ($120 annually or $12 per month) and watch the four part video series on our facilities upgrade and you will get good sense of where our facilites were versus where they will be in a very short period of time. While it is not a comparison to other universities' facilities, per se, I left the site confident that the $100 million upgrades once finished will be hard for anyone to match must less exceed.

Anyone that you said that Miss St.'s facilities are the best just woke up from a nightmare...have you ever been to their stadium?...tacky is the only word available.

We rank right at the top with our facilities now...maybe they are the best, second best...not sure. But, most any recruit can think that he has been impressed with some particular school's facilities on a recruiting trip...they will fill him with "hot-air" stastics and information, just like all schools do, just to try and get his signature. Plus, each school is so different as far as how the facilities are laid out, etc., that it can mostly be a matter of opinion. As far as size....we are right near the top in the nation - specifically regarding the weightroom.

As for the stadium...I am like you in that I have heard several different numbers for the seating capacity increase. But, I do know this...construction is hot and heavy every day...I walk by the stadium five days a week back and forth to classes.

The official Bama number of 10K should be good enough until it's finished.

The expansion project itself totals approximately 10,000 seats, but about 3500 will replace what was removed in the initial demolition (the last several rows below the scoreboard have been knocked out and only the steel supports remain). That leaves about 6500 total seats added to the previous capacity of 83,818. The capacity of the stadium at completion will be a hair over 90,000.
