Sorry, scanned the board first but didn't see anything. Is there a fan day this year and when is it?

Thanks!!!

I haven't seen anything on it, either. However, they usually are inside Bryant Denny Stadium the first or second week in August (I believe) once the fall practice season commences.....

An announcement has not been made regarding Fan Day at this time, but I'm sure it will be the first or second Sunday in August. Since CNS has been at Alabama this is when it's always been held following an afternoon practice that was open to the public.

Are autographs really hard to get at Fan Day like are you lucky to get one autograph or can you get several? I'm thinking about going, but I don't know. I've never been.

Fan Day only lasts fourty-five minutes and there are literally thousands and thousands and thousands of people that attend. I've always arrived for Fan Day three or four hours before it begins to get in line early and the best I've ever been able to do is get about eight or nine signatures.

Fan Day = complete waste of time.
As someone stated, thousands of people line up for an autograph session that lasts 45 minutes. Most never even get close. I might go to just watch practice but I won't bother with that autograph thing.

Agreed. The only good thing about fan day is to be able to walk the field

They dont handle it properly. It needs to be better organized and it needs to be sign this and move on. No 5 minute discussions and pictures with each player. If they ran it like major sports signing events more people could get more autos from more players. I've seen it done at larger events and other colleges for their fan days.

They should funnel everyone in a line all the way around the stadium. Not allow lines to form at each table. And have people stationed to make sure fans arent taking up too much time at each table. Everyone gets all gaga over their favorite athelete and forgets there are 5000 other fellow fans behind them waiting. It all goes back to consideration for others. So unfortunately the organzation running the event needs to handle it like a business event. Do this, dont do this.

And one thing signed. Most of these people getting multiple sigs are selling them on eBay anyway. Who do I call to help organize this?

Well I don't really like big crowds so I think I may stay home :). I figured it was crazy, and I figure even more so after the championship year.
