The guy made some good points, but not all were accurate. He trashed Bray, who has been an easy target, but this play Bray did a good job. 0 was on a run blitz, hit the AGap, so 18 had to come down in the box to fill any holes. We only play with 2 linebackers in Base so the safeties have to play run support quickly. The guy went on about leverage and contain on this play, but Bray was sliding to the edge for leverage, then 20 moved to set the edge, which created a hole off tackle with a TE leading. Then the analyst complained about Bray’s head being inside of the tackle and getting blown up, but if Bray didn’t fill that hole, and put his helmet to the inside giving the back on inside look, the back would have cut inside the TE and not stopped running until the end zone. Bray did what he was suppose to do. Proof is in the pictures or the video if you want to go back and look.
