Eh, the O/U for LSU in the pre-season was 6.5. I'd say the kid-killer in Red Stick did better than any expected, even without the Bama win.If that 2 point play fails Kelly gets a C+
I can recommend an OC for him.Napier needs an OC, IMHO....someone to do a better job calling the plays and schemes. Some of the stuff I saw this year was ridiculous, frustrating, and sad.
I suppose that falls under a head coaches 'responsibility umbrella', so his problem to fix, although I also feel our AD Scott Stricklin should bring this to his attention as appropriate if need be.
I just don’t get the hype by many Bama fans on here about Napier. Maybe he will make Florida a group of killers but I saw many here predicting a 10 win season and SECE crown. After one year I’m not too impressed.Eh, the O/U for LSU in the pre-season was 6.5. I'd say the kid-killer in Red Stick did better than any expected, even without the Bama win.
I've not been as optimistic as many here about Napier - history is littered with guys who do well against lesser competition but look quite average against the best.

If they lose he would be fine, but if they lose because they failed to convert that 2 point conversion then he would be roasted alive.Eh, the O/U for LSU in the pre-season was 6.5. I'd say the kid-killer in Red Stick did better than any expected, even without the Bama win.

He’s been very active in the portal, and is in the running IMO to win that “competition “ this year. And these days, the portal is the gateway to “win now”. Even Kirby is in on the action, and can no longer brag about doing it with only “their” players. It’s the way today. If they lose he would be fine, but if they lose because they failed to convert that 2 point conversion then he would be roasted alive.
I agree that LSU was far more improved than anyone had the right to expect, but a lot of that would have been lost with one more loss, without the win over Alabama and by taking a risk like that and having it backfire.
He is a very good head coach. Let's see where it goes from here.
He can thank Goldilocks for that…If that 2 point play fails Kelly gets a C+
They beefing up to play with the big boys in the SEC in the trenches, which is where the game is typically won/loss.Billy and staff been doin' some crootin'.......
How about these road graders for an Oline?
Whoever is playing QB will have himself a little protection, anyway......

Absolutely!Billy has got to be feeling the heat. Can't seem to get the QB he needs so he is building up the trenches to give the the next guy a fighting chance. Smart move.
you could possibly end up with one of our guys.Absolutely!
FYI: we have a good QB coming in next year with D.J. Lagway.
And as far as this year goes.....I've heard that Billy is still open to getting one more.
But even if he doesn't......I'm not so sure what we have in Jack Miller III and Graham Mertz won't get the job done.
What’s the impetus behind the “Blackout” game against R-kansas?Pretty cool to see what uniform combos we will be running for every game this season. Usually it's kept secret until a day or two before each game.
First color is helmet, second is jersey, and last is pants.
