Bama hasn't played a SEC game yet and has a 1 game lead on LSU and M$U.
Losing one at home in conference makes for an uphill battle.

My joy in MSU losing is based on the fact that Mario Austin committed to Bama and backed out. Every time I think how good Bama would be if he was added to the mix makes me angry. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with the players we have. I'm looking forward to the debut of Kennedy Winston against Arkansas. If he is half as good as I have heard Bama will be moving to another level of play.

This is also good since MSU is in the West with us. Every time an East team plays a West team we need the East to win so that it will make it easier for us to win the West and get a first round bye in the tourney.

I was hoping MSU would win move up in the polls so we could knock them down a notch....However don't be fooled by last nights game, I think MSU will be THE toughest team on our schedule.
