The past 2 years we've had a strong blowout game early in the season against a ranked team. I don't think we've had that type game yet, even though we did beat Penn State pretty good.

Saturday, the crowd at Bryant Denny will be in a frenzy, Urban's nerves will be nearly out of control, and Bama wins it's statement game.

Once I predicted a blowout against UK (we barely won), and once I predicted a blowout against that-team-that-shall-remain-unnamed in the Sugar Bowl. In 2009 I refused to predict anything. The Gators of Florida come slithering into Tuscaloosa this weekend to try to sink their teeth into the Pachyderms of Alabama. The Gators are still smarting from the shellacing the Tide gave them in last years SEC Championship game. The Tides young secondary learned some valuable lessons last week from the Hogs of Fayetteville as the Hogs put up over 350 yds on them. That has the gator QB licking his chops waiting to feast on Elephant meat. But look for the Elephants to go Rogue Satiddy as the gators find that the thick hide of the Tide is too much to chew.
