Yep. And I think their defense is a little overrated. 4Net ran up around 150 yards or so on UF and LSU put 35 on the Gator D. Then LSU played 2 real defenses (Alabama and Arkansas) and got nothing. Tennessee scored 27 and LSU scored 35 on the Gators. Those are the two best teams they've played..

Either that or CJM is holding back all the special plays for future opponents.

LSU actually 330 on Arky so you can say they got nothing. But you are right, UF's defense is kinda overrated. LSU did what they wanted.

I fully expect UF to give Alabama a tough game in the SECCG but it's hard to imagine the UF offense scoring more than 14-17 without something fluky happening. The Bama special teams unit will need to do a good job on coverage because UF has a pretty explosive punt returner..

My bad you did say that, but LSU was also able to pass against UF too. They had balance against that Gator defense as well. They went for 400+ yards. Even FAU is moving the ball against the and they actually have more yards in the game than UF right now, 183-167.


We have a pretty good punt coverage team as well.

90-something and a TD isn't nothing considering they were down two scores most of the second half. He had over 100 yards of total offense. The rest of his offense has let him down.

Ok put it this way - Alabama gave up 16 to LSU, Arkansas gave up 14 and Florida gave up 35. Florida is considered to have an elite defense which IMO is overrated..
