The final in the UT-MSU game Saturday was 33-21. It was a pretty tight game until late, which just shows that MSU has continued to improve this season, I believe. I think they are going to be a tough, tough task for Bama in November. Remember, they beat us last year (as if I need to remind anyone..)

Early in the season, I thought Fulmer would get Croomed, but it turns out that the magic pumpkin has come through again. They would have to completely unfold at this point for UT to run him off. That being said, could a win by our boys over the Tattletale from Tennessee upset their balance, and put the Largeth One on the ropes again?

I have a feeling that this is a winnable game if we play ball control offense. If we get in a shoot-out, I don't like our chances, even though we've faired well in shoot-outs this season....We haven't faced Eric Ainge yet....
 
The trick to ut defense is to keep them on the field (not unlike Bama's). They are not as deep as in the past. They are also not tackling as well as in the past, but I think some of that is due to being hung out to dry by the offense early in the year. Phat fill is running the ball more which is helping them. Ainge can throw it deep to. Bama hasn't faced anyone that can throw the deep ball like he can.

Man do I want this win. I hate living here in tn when Bama loses.

Tenn is 5th in scoring offense and last in scoring defense.

Total offense Tenn. is 5th and Bama is 6th.
Total defense Bama is 9th and Tenn is 11th.
 
I think the Cal and UF game might may make them look worse than they are. I think Bama's numbers would be worse if we had to face those 2 teams.

Just a thought.:)

But I do think ut does not have the defense that I have seen from them in the past.
 
I wouldn't throw the word "Croomed" around here too much. If our defense doesn't improve on stopping the run, the we will likely be Croomed again this year.

Well, you have to fully understand what Crooming is.

You can't just lose to MSU and get Croomed. You have to lose your job, too.

Has Tuberville been Croomed? Well, he's only made it half way through the "process". ;) I think it's unlikely, though, in that if he does leave, it will be on his own accord and not getting fired.

Will Coach Saban get Croomed? Nope. Because, while he may very well lose to Croom, he won't be fired.
