Question: Fumbled kick-off return

I didn't get a good view, but we still argued about it a good bit at my house. Was the kickoff going out of bounds? If it had, where would we have gotten the ball, since Ole Miss was backed up 15 yards?

I wondered that myself on several of their kickoffs. Couldn't tell from the TV angle.

CJ caught the ball about a yard from the sideline around the 10 or 15 yardline, so its safe to say that it would have gone out of bounds. Given that it would have gone out of bounds we would've gotten the ball 30yds (I think) from where the kickoff took place. In this case somewhere around the 50yd line since Ole Miss was kicking form their 20yd line due to the unsportsmanlike conduct penalty from the touchdown.

Actually, there were a couple of Ole Miss kickoffs that looked like they were going out of bounds, but were fielded almost on the sideline.

Their last two kicks both looked to be going out IMO
