Some of you know that the bar/restaurant I work ar part time is the Auburn Aumni bar in Atlanta. Thankfully I don't work weekends because that would suck. Anyway we had this rattty looking homeless guy wondering around the patio yesterday bothering people so Ward the owner goes out and tells the guy to get the he## off his patio, so the guy says to him hey I went to Auburn. Ward comes back in and tells us the guy said he went to Auburn and he says now does that guy look like he went to Auburn, and I'm like yeah maybe. Haha of course what I'm thinking is heck yeah he fits the image we all have of what Auburn and UT fans should look like.

I can't think of a better excuse to use to be asking for a handout. I can see that cardboard sign now - instead of "will work for food" it will read "aubarn grad please help"

I ran across a thread earlier this morning from a Bama fan talking about one of his co-workers (Auburn grad) asking if Alabama had ever played Washington State before...

I hope he told him that we beat them 24-0 in the 1931 Rose Bowl and then watched the blank expression on the barner's face.:)

The way he described it went something like...

"I'm going to say this real slowly...Pasadena California...Rose Bowl...National Championship..."

I had an Auburn person say to me the other day " The only thing good Alabama has ever had is Bo Jackson." I laughed right in his face and told him he must not be too big of an Auburn fan to think Bo Jackson played for Bama.
