One thing to allow for is Stetson Bennett is not a Young/ Hooker but he seems to always play better when he's not talked about and seems like all the talk is on UT and Hooker! I have a funny feeling Bennett plays one heck of a game
I agree and will add that if we figure out even a partial answer to the coverage failures from the last time around, along with the other things you mentioned, we’ll own them—twice if needed.I like this plan the best, and here's why:
1. Take away our horrible anamoly of a 1st quarter in Knoxville, and we win.
2. Have some real referees, and we win.
3. Know to line Reichard up better for a kick, and we win.
4. Have the experience of playing them already, and we win.
Everyone seems to be forgetting one thing: regardless of how great UT looks this year, they still just BARELY escaped us in their own house. Take away ANY of the things that went wrong for us, and we would have won.
This isn't sour grapes, and I hate playing "coulda-shoulda-woulda," but facts are facts.
I’m with you on the hatred of the Viles but Georgias secondary is suspect. Jamo torched em last year an was well on his way to doing it again before he got hurt in the national championship game. Speed kills and I don’t think Georgia has an answer for Hyatt an the Viles win.Wish they could both lose, but...
I dislike UGA, but I hate UTK with the white-hot heat of 10,000 suns.
GO DAWGS!
Thurston Howell III … bwahahaha!! I needed this todayUGA has more experience in pressure games, and weapons that are mismatches for the UT defense....especially with their TE group. If Thurston-Howell III doesnt throw INTs then UGA wins...their defense is legit up front which will hold the UT run game and that makes Hooker a thrower...he's ok, but has shown in the past at VaTech he is prone to INTs.
Yep. Young guys rush the QB like their helmet is on fire, arrive at the QB fast but completely out of control, the QB dips a shoulder as the pass rusher goes sailing past, then the QB takes off.Kirby is not wanting sacks as much these days as he is wanting pressure on a QB while defensive players play proper containment. how many times do you see multiple players going for a sack and a QB like young pick up 20 yards on their feet.
Georgia is #94 on strength of scheduleLooking at Georgia's schedule so far.....its amazing that they have played absolutely no one outside of an opening day rout of Oregon. I'd bet if they played that game this Saturday it wouldn't be the blow out it was then. But look at this:
49-3 Oregon (7-1)
33-0 Samford
48-7 at South Carolina (5-3)
39-22 Kent State (3-6)
26-22 at Missouri (4-4)
42-10 Auburn (3-5)
55-0 Vanderbilt (3-5)
42-20 Florida (4-4)
That's a lot of bad to mediocre teams.
I know I am in enemy territory, but Alabama has not beaten a currently ranked team yet this season. All of Alabama's current wins are from teams that are 5-3 or worseLooking at Georgia's schedule so far.....its amazing that they have played absolutely no one outside of an opening day rout of Oregon. My point is....Georgia hasn't really been challenged. Alabama was and lost.I know I am in enemy territory, but Alabama has not beaten a currently ranked team yet this season. All of Alabama's current wins are from teams that are 5-3 or worse
Alabama gets Ole Miss and LSU to complete the season though and Georgia just gets tennessee, but tennessee and oregon are two top 10 teams
strength of schedule is always a weird argument for me though. Most of us all agree the SEC has the best teams, so does that not make it the hardest schedule regardless?

I mean yeah, but remember most of those teams aren’t ranked simply because Bama beat them…I know I am in enemy territory, but Alabama has not beaten a currently ranked team yet this season. All of Alabama's current wins are from teams that are 5-3 or worse

Tennessee is playing.....Kansas City right? I expect Kansas City wins.Big game with SEC Championship and playoff implications for us. Ga is favored and IMO will probably cover and go on to represent the SEC east. However, since this has SEC championship implications, wouldn't we fare better against Tenn since we have already played them and we have a better idea what to expect?![]()
