Was on my way home from dinner when the game started with three consecutive walks. Stayed in the car to see if we'd make something of the gifts and following a strike out, Haynie hit a Granny to stake us to the early 4-0 lead. Cucjen doubled in two in the fourth. After 6 complete, Bama leads the hogs 6-1.

In the 7th, Salem doubles home a run, Taylor follows with a 2-run tater. Bama 9-1, still batting.

Nothing more for us in the 7th.

Arky loads the bases with no outs but only gets 1 home.

Going to the 8th, Bama leads 9-2.

They really seem to like either: Hog pitching, or hitting in the mountain air in Fayetteville. Whatever it is, I hope they bring hitting home with them.

We get a couple on in the 8th but strand them.

We need six outs.

Keller replaced Walters (who had a terrific outing) to begin the 8th. Keller gave up a couple of hits but picked one off. Nothing for the hogs. To the 9th we go.

Well, as surprising as it seems, Arkansas has about the worst record in the league this year.

If we can finish this we will move a game ahead of Kentucky into 8th.

Haynie with another bomb! A deep shot to center. Bama 10-2.

Three outs to go.

Last chance for Arkansas.

Single.
Strike out - there's one.
Homer by Eagan. Bama 10-4
Walk
A 5-4-3 double play ends it!

Game 3 at 1:00 tomorrow. Could certainly use a sweep.

Give Haynie a belt high fast ball and he will give it a ride. If opposing pitchers are dumb enough to try and slip one by him, I like our chances to keep scoring runs.

South Carolina's road record is nothing to brag about, so we will have a chance to win against them.
