Yeah, but do we believe this?
Doesn’t matter if WE believe it at all. It just matters that we’re enjoying itYeah, but do we believe this?
Or are there just some old chums there willing to do The Fambly's bidding under the cloak of anonymity?
This could certainly be a two-edged sword. I wouldn't at all be surprised if they rescinded this policy after this particular matter comes to a conclusion. Will this apply to Pearl if the NCAA comes back for another bite of the apple? He refused the first time.
They simply didn't want to find anything that would take down Pearl...My first thought was "Hmm why didn't they "implement" this policy when, during the Person NCAA investigation", Bruce Pearl told them to "go pound sand"?
Probably both. So; do they want to interview Harsin? Or; the girl?
Good point, Selma! Hiring Freeze would have a built in "cause" (cause you just KNOW he is going to do something immoral or unethical) if they ever wanted to dump him with no buy-out...I have to admit I’m in awe of any booster or trustee who has the sheer chutzpah to look us all in the eye and say they want to run off Harsin over moral issues, and then in the same breath introduce our new head coach, Hugh Freeze.
That, my friends, would be next-level.
— TV’s Van Allen Plexico![]()

I mean, I have to respect his self-awareness as being above that of the average guy who wrote a book about Auburn sports.
But that does - to me - beg the question.......are you still going to support the program with your support and dollars (including tickets to games) if Freeze gets hired?
Because if you are then all this moralizing posturing means absolutely nothing. The PTB at Auburn (and yes folks other schools, this ain't unique) KNOW that they won't take any kind of financial hit if they DO hire Freeze.
All the more reason to do so since the declarations are meaningless.
Yeah, that was the advantage that awbern enjoyed in the past, but now its a level playing field for everyone else.I'm a little baffled at this point. Clearly they badly want to get Rid of Harsin, and Clearly Harsin didn't cooperate. Also it's apparent they have no proof of impropriety or he'd be gone by now. So they are checkmated. The game's over. There is no way they can cut Harsins feet out from under him and have him be effective to lead their program, So the only option is to pay the man and start over. Yet their answer has been to simply do nothing. Every hour that goes by does more damage to that program, when it comes to recruiting perception is reality, I contend money won't solve it either because unlike in the past, anybody can get players paid now, and it's all legal.
He still wields a LOT of power down there. The question to ask is who hired Greene? That hire cost Steven Leath his job. The good ole boys lost control when Lowder was forced off the Board of Trustees.
Apparently he is going to the meeting today, with or without the confetti
So I presume this rules out Hearse-in's becoming Butch Jones' offensive intern for taking a knee in the victory formation at Arky State?
Why of course not. He's winning. Will this apply to Pearl if the NCAA comes back for another bite of the apple? He refused the first time.
