Help:Good Restraunts in Gulf Shores area!

Bamabuzzard...........didn't do Zeke's.........heading down in a couple of weeks....maybe three...will give it a try..........thought for a while things were really beginning to pick up eat-wise in Orange Beach........but now I think a leveling off/downslide has/is happening.

One place I left off the list is Doc's....corner of Canal and HWY 169 deadend.....always has been and continued to be a very good spot for fresh seafood and at a reasonable price..........fried fish was delicious......gumbo soup great, etc.

East of Sams on Canal is "The Keg"......one hell of a good burger....if you don't mind the ocassional knife fight while you wait for takeout.

Also, SAM'S has great burgers.

I'm sorry if I offend someone,but Bubba's Seafood House didn't make the cut.We spent about 30 secs. in there.A 76 from the health dept. did the trick.We ate at Jake's a few days later and could see why they got such a pitiful rating.The view from Jake's was of boxes and other junk scattered around the side and back of Bubba's.So needless to say we checked that one off the list.

I can only speak from my personal experience of Bubbas
and Jakes. The food has been excellent at Bubbas everytime I have eaten there and Jakes has the best ribs I have ever eaten.
