He's not a player anymore. Coaching and playing are two different things. Putting the game in the hands of an inexperienced true freshman that was already having a bad day isn't very smart. Especially when you've just driven the ball down the defense's throat with your passing game. They couldn't cover our wr's. We went conservative when we got in crunch time. Plain and simple. We left the door open and they shut it. You take a "risk" when you play aggressive football and obviously take the same "risk" when you play conservative. I'd rather go out putting the ball in the hands of my experienced playmakers that had been making plays all day rather than an inexperienced true freshman fg kicker that had struggled all day.
But, they don't pay me millions of dollars to make those decisions. Thank god I do not have to answer any post game questions.:biggrin2:
