I come in peace

Hey BMW welcome to TideFans! We're really looking forward to playing ya'll again. Are you going to Dallas or like me, going to enjoy it on the TV?

Thank you

I'll be watching it on the brand new 70" I just bought for the family (okay, really bought it for me)

Welcome to the board bmw! We have some really good rival posters that hang around we like to get different perspectives from other fanbases.

I think this is going to be an old school smash mouth game. I have a lot of respect for Mark Dantonio, and MSU's record against top 5 teams in recent years should make anyone respect Sparty.

I've watched MSU twice this year. Who on offense is a game changer besids Cook? Their RB looked alright against Iowa.

The pass D isn't great, is that due to dink and dunk or hitting big plays?

So, bmw, why do you have any feelings either way about Auburn (a/k/a on this board, "the barn")?

I have my own set of reasons, but I've lived in Alabama for 53.5 out of my 57 years on this earth. What generated a Michigander / Spartan's dislike for a fellow land-grant institution 1,000 or so miles away?

BTW -- are you a BMW enthusiast? I'm on my third Beemer, and love them.

Welcome to the board bmw. After enjoying many Michigan State fans at the bowl game, I was really looking forward to the home and home series before it was cancelled.
Really glad we get to match up in the playoff.

If you don't mind, will you post the same stats for Bama (for BMW's sake).
Sure.

Defensively:
Against the 44th ranked schedule in the country:
MSU's rush D is ranked 7th nationally (113.08 ypg)
MSU's pass D is ranked 74th nationally (229.8 ypg)
MSU's total D is ranked 26th nationally (342.9 ypg)

Against the 4th ranked schedule in the country:
Bama's rush D is ranked 1st nationally (74.00 ypg)
Bama's pass D is ranked 16th nationally (184.2 ypg)
Bama's total D is ranked 2nd nationally (258.2 ypg)

Offensively:
Against the 44th ranked schedule in the country:
MSU's rush O is ranked 79th nationally (160.69 ypg)
MSU's pass O is ranked 53rd nationally (236.1 ypg)
MSU's total O is ranked 67th nationally (396.8 ypg)

Against the 4th ranked schedule in the country:
Bama's rush O is ranked 27th nationally (208.23 ypg)
Bama's pass O is ranked 73rd nationally (214.3 ypg)
Bama's total O is ranked 49th nationally (422.5 ypg)

Finally, scoring:
MSU (44th toughest schedule): scores 32.1 ppg (49th), allows 20.5 ppg (19th)
Bama (4th toughest schedule): scores 34.1 ppg (36th), allows 14.1 ppg (3rd)

I hate Auburn and thank you all for kicking Michigan's hind-dinger last time you played them. Looking forward to the upcoming game

Welcome, and it's great to have someone else here who dislikes Michigan with a passion. I won't wish you luck against Alabama because, well, I hope that they win, but I appreciate the MSU perspective.

Stick around after the game. This is a great college football board - the best that I have come across.

Be warned, always change channel before Joey Galloway comes on, otherwise the "Smart TV" programming disables itself. It's like a built in firewall, designed to protect itself from a virus.

The guys at Best Buy told me that it's a huge problem for them.
