I hate the Vols but at least i have a life most Alabama fans hate the Vols and Auburn but they don't let it get to them....wow.....wow...wow..:eek2:
Is your tongue planted in your cheek on this one? You are kidding, right? There are Bama fans on here that think going 12-1 and losing to Auburn is worse than going 6-6 and beating Auburn!!.........

Losing to Auburn is always bad. How many more years will Bama fans downplay the importance of beating Auburn? Perhaps when/if they (Auburn) pass us in the series?

wow!! in a way, i can sympathize with this guy (scary, i know)...but i feel the same way about lsu, having to grow up just 5 miles east of tigertown. i hate lsu and that is the most important game of the year to me. i know how important tenn and auburn is to the alabama football program; but i'd rather see bama beat lasu then anyone else. i now live in texas and i love it!! i'd rather be livin' in BAMA...but livin' here is a heck of alot better then lousyana...screw the tigers!!!:BigA:

Delusional thinking comes from too much in-breeding -- the family tree with no forks syndrome. Clearly, the writer lacks balanced thought processes and his delusional paranoia comes to the fore. It is an unfortunate fact of life that there are those whose IQ is in the single digits like the writer but we should not mock them -- just pity them for being or-unge.

I'm still trying to wrap my brain around this bit of Tennessee math:

Q: How many Bama fans does it take to change a light bulb?
A: 75,001 - one to change the bulb and 83,818 to sit in Bryant-Denny
Stadium and talk about how good the old bulb was.
83,818 + 1 = 75,001 :conf2:

However, I do have more respect for BAMA than any other team in the
SEC. Playing and beating truly means something to me. This rivalry dates
all the way back to 1901. Alabama and Tennessee rank 1 and 2 respectively
in all time SEC victories and winning percentage. We are the TITANS of the
SEC. It is for this reason that I feel the way I do. I love poking fun at
the Alabama fans as much as they love doing it to us. We have something
that other schools in the SEC (such as Florida) will never have. This is
why I HATE BAMA, but I RESPECT BAMA. I will never have any respect for
Florida. I do long for Bama to return from these leaner years to its former
glory. I long for the BAMA GAME to be the #1 game in the heart and minds of
all Volunteer Fans as it is in mine.
I didn't find anything wrong with it. I skimmed the body of the article but basically the guy hates us but respects us and is a passionate fan. You can't ask for your rivals to love you, only respect you.

He's admitting he hates us so much and attacks us so violently because we're so friggin good. This article is practically a complement.

Neyland has more seats than that.
The University of Tennessee athletic department states "The latest addition to the facility are the 78 East sideline skyboxes in 2000, bringing capacity to 104,079" The largest crowd in attendance was the Florida game in 2004 with 109,061. I think what Boca Lance was getting at is Tennessee has tiny seats and that's why they have 104,079 seats. If Neyland Stadium had normal size seats it would hold 97,000. ;)
