I hate to brag, but I called the Upchurch TD.

I just had to post this. I really am not one to toot my own horn about anything, but I called the Upchurch TD on cue. My wife and I were watching the game, and when Bama lined up I said to her "Draw play for a touchdown" and then BAM! I couldn't believe I was actually right for once. It looked almost exactly like Terry Grant's draw for a TD against UT last year. Great call by McElwain.

By the way, did Upchurch have the game of his life or what? He made a ton of big plays tonight.

I did too! Even called the formation. We were watching at my parents with an Uncle and his kids (my cousins) over. I said before they lined up that 3rd and goal from that distance would likely be a pass, but I'd like to see a draw from a shotgun-spread look.

My uncle grabbed the remote to see if I had watched the play already and then rewound just to say that!

I think Upchurch made one of the biggest plays of the game in the 4th Qtr. The dump-off pass to him on third down where he broke the ankles of two GA defenders and rumbled downfield for about 20-something yards was really a key play late. GA still had a lot of momentum at that point, and if they had stopped us there, well, who knows. But Bama needed a play, and Upchurch delivered a highlight reel worthy play!

I found out what a true friend I really have, I had offered to bet him $100 that
Tennessee would beat Alabama in Knoxville this season, but he turned me down. He said he didn't want to take my money. I am so blessed to have a good friend like that. Its a good thing Bama doesn't play Vanderbilt this year.

I just kept yelling, "Run it! Break 'em down" during the whole game. Does that count?

I would love to see a game where BAMA doesn't pass it a single time........just run, run, run!!!!
