They denigrate us because they need someone to denigrate to elevate themselves in their collective minds and their biased perceptions based on past events make "the south" the legitimate choice. It is evident that they hold us to a different standard than themselves in practically everything, including personnel decisions in athletic programs.

To be superior, you must declare someone or something else as inferior. The Nazis chose the "untermensch" of the Jews and Slavs. The media and the majority of the U.S. choose us.
