IF there was no Crimson Tide who would your favorite team be?

I agree with Selma. I moved to Alabama in 1978. I was 11 years old. I had never watched college football before and was completely absorbed by the phenomenon that was Alabama football. As I made more friends, I was sucked more deeply into the sport. And Alabama just kept on winning. The excitement of learning a sport, making friends, and pulling for a team that seemingly couldn't lose, was unbelievable. At 11 years old, I didn't have a chance.

By the end of the season (you all know how that season, and the next, went), I was hooked on Bama football. I later learned to love college football.

I doubt that I would have ever developed an interest in college football if I had not moved to Alabama...

Georgia Southern University. 6 National Tiles in the 80's and 90's. Loved any teams that still uses the wishbone. But thankfully there is the Crimson Tide.

Living in Nashville, no doubt it would be the mighty Vanderbilt Commadores. I try to catch their games whenever possible. Other than that. Probably no team and I would work weekends lol.

If Alabama football did not exist, forget OK, LSU, TX, and all the other BCS contenders. I would have to pull for no other than Vandy. That is right, because whenever they beat Tennessee, although rare, few things please me more. :)

Seriously, it'd have to be Notre Dame. I know, that's blasphemy to some here but I was raised Catholic and you kind of HAVE to pull for the Irish. I still have a soft spot for them despite some of the stupid things I've heard from some Tide fans, e.g. "They stole our national championship!".

I really hate to say this...

...but, I'd probably go with the Dawgs.

I like Coach Richt. Although there was some Miami-ish thuggery in Athens this year, he's a good coach, and a better man. His Christian walk, and the adoption of children that were impoverished and abandoned in Eastern Europe spoke of the man's character to me.

So, it would be the Dawgs.

I'd say Hawaii......as long as I had season tickets!@!
Lived over there for two years. Dad was Army so...it is a pretty good place to watch FB. I'd have to say as far as my Fav team other than Bama would be Kansas State, and whoever played Tutorsee and Auburn.
