Re: Finebaum Show, Shane for Centerpoint and Robert from Waterloo

For all his faults and his playing both ends against the middle. Finebaum finally gets something right.

Article from Sports Illustrated.

Any great sportscaster has no choice but to listen to both sides of any opinion.

Otherwise he becomes a fan rather than a professional.

Finebaum is good and always has been.

And he's objective.

You want bad? You want bias? Listen to Tim Brando.

Be assured that "Robert from Waterloo" would get one call and would never be allowed on his program again.

I've heard Robert call into Jack Arute's show some. It seemed like he really liked talking to Mike Leech when he was on. You can tell he is a big sports fan.

Re: Finebaum Show, Shane for Centerpoint and Robert from Waterloo

I will be the contrarian

I do not think PF ever would have made that trip had he not gotten the free flight. Notice it all came together at that point, and I have heard Robert asking Paul to come visit since way back in the summer. Paul always tried to politely get around it.

In fact, the guy from Crestwood berated Paul on this several times, and I think may have helped spur the visit on.

Finebaum is a snake. He has used guys like Arrington, Langford, Scrushy and others to name drop and inflate positive public opinion on "Pawl". Then when trouble comes for those guys PF publicly declares as "Friends" he runs the other way, turns, gets a running start and leads the pile-on.

Sorry, but this just another case of ole "Pawl" using someone or situation for his own gain.
