I know a lot of people are driving to ATL today. Some folks are stuck at work, I'm stuck at home recovering from surgery, and many just couldnt get tickets. So... I've already watched all of last years games several times recently, guess I'll just hang out on the BAMA boards all day.Anyway, what are people going to do with their selves today.

Also, travelers have a safe trip and give em heck at the dome.ROLL TIDE:BigA:

I'm going to play golf this morning, have a shrimp boil this afternoon, then watch the game tonight. What a fun day. Been waiting for this day since January

I think most of us Bama folks are sweating bullets awaiting the start of the game!

I guess we'll watch some of the early games and then get ready for the big one at 8:00 Eastern time! lol

Misery loves company so I think there's a whole lotta us who just can not wait for the kick off classic in Hot Lanta!

Remember, those of you in the "Dome" are representin and we're living and lovin youse guys who are there in person and we're with you via osmosis or somethin like that...........

RTR, beat VA Tech!:BigA:

Waiting the last day or two on a big Alabama football game has always been like my brother and me going from Birmingham to visit our grandfather in Ragland, Alabama, in the late forties - early fifties. Grandaddy was the mayor of Ragland, and going to see him at his home on the top of the hill in Ragland was a hoot.

We couldn't wait to get there. Going up the mountain towards Leeds on that little narrow road (long before Interstate 20 was built) was seemingly interminable. Seems like we always got behind a truck, and there was the mountain of coal out to our left, a scene that wouldn't seem to go away.

By the time we had gotten through Pell City, the last fifteen miles to Ragland were the worst. My brother and I would be jumping around in the back seat of the car, and our father would sternly say, "SEPARATE!"

The trip to Ragland was just like waiting on a big Alabama football game. Seemed like we would never get there.

I had planned to do some yard work, but I wake up this morning and it is raining.

As late as Thursday, I believe, the forecast said "Chance of rain: NONE" for Saturday.

Well, I guess that I'm just going to have to sit inside and watch football all day. What a shame.
