Jameis Winston and Reggie Ragland want to go to college together

This article features Jameis Winston and his plan to play football not baseball and go to the same college as Reggie Ragland. He says that the two of them have also talked to Kwon Alexander and Marcus Turner about playing college football together. IMO this bodes extremely well for BAMA.

Jameis is going to commit to Alabama. It's a matter of "when" not "if." 2012 will be banner year in Alabama, expect the Tide to DOMINATE in-state recruiting.

I may be confused but there are many links on this board to pay sites. In order to be able to read the story the person who clicks on the link must have a subscription. I was under the impression that a link is ok, but copying and pasting from an article is not.

We always post links even if to pay sites so that it shows a source. Now I am not paying for info but I have no issue with it. As long as the article is sumed up without alot of opinion it is fine with me.

My only concern is when articles are quoted or mentioned with no link at all.

How do you guys think it will compare with 08'?

The talent that has ended up being productive from that '08 class is absolutely insane. As far as results on the field, that has to be one of the best recruiting classes of all time...

That is OK as long as there is no cut and paste info from the article or direct quoting of the article. The OP is fine with his brief comments in his own words about the article, along with providing a link.

You can also link the prospects profile that contains the article after your brief discussion. Like so...

These four need to go ahead and pull the trigger so they can start recruiting the other in-state, as well as out of state, guys.

Quick question for you guys that have been following this for the past 50 years... I've only been really following recruiting for about 1 1/2 yrs. In the recent past, when was the last time that an elite in-state kid from Alabama actually left the state (UA or AU)?? Not since Saban got here, correct?

The one that comes to my mind right off the top of my head is Chad Jackson from Hoover. He was number 1 in the state and I believe number 17 or so in the country on Rivals and the number 2 rated receiver in 2003.

But to answer your second question, no, not since Saban got here.

JaMarcus was a big name that left, but he left before CNS got here obviously. Mobile was fertile ground for a lot of programs outside AL but that has changed big-time since CNS's arrival.
