I don't mean to come across as condescending, but the tenor of the title of this post is, in my opinion, inappropriate. I don't know what good it does to take glee in the fact that a former college football player's mother ran afoul of the law. Non-story, really, but that's just my opinion.

This may not be popular with some of you, but, personally, I always thought of Jason Witten as a good player with good values. I had a lot of respect for what he did as a tight end. It's a shame that has happened to his family.

I'm not a Vol fan, by any means...but I recognize talent when I see it, and Witten has talent in the tight end position. That son-of-a-gun was hard to bring down.
