Anyone have a link to the Joe Scarborough article concerning the current state of Alabama football?
 
Yea, he pretty much said what needed to be said. It was refreshing. It was also good to hear someone publicly rebuke TT's classless holding up of his five fingers.
 
Please remember this is the same clown who talked the voters of the panhandle to vote him in to Congress, then quit so he could go back to Pensacola to spend more time with his family and six months later left again to do an incoherrent tv show. I would call him a loser who just happens to command the bully pulpit. For crying out loud, by his own admission he hangs out with Taylor Hicks.
 
I am not sure what to make of Tubby holding up four fingers - I really don't have a problem with that. Like someone pointed out was Bear showing a lack of class when he referred to Auburn as a cow college

How about Kines telling his players that Rod traded a goldmine for a coalmine

There could be a double standard here and the clown on finebaum has no bidness saying someone else does not have class.
 
Finebaum said Joe had an article in the B'ham News today. I looked but could not find it. Anyone see it and if so where is it? I listened to Finebaum's interview with Joe.

I didn't see the article on Finebaum's front page. I clicked on the audio and listened to the interview, but couldn't find a written article.

as a local musician - I gotta say Taylor was a hard workin local guy - giggin a lot for nothing much. I have never watched American Idol but Taylor has talent & deserves whatever he can get - as does any hard workin musician

However I do not want him as coach at Bama

I don't think Tubby was rubbing it in on the players or the opposing coach not really the fans either - He was 'working' his fans not trying to taunt the Bama fans.

It is a rivalry and if there is not some degree of smack you might as well be playing Iowa
 
I hope our players will remember this next season. I hope it eats them up inside and makes them want to kill Auburn. With a new coach, maybe someone to light a fire, Gruden, we should finally beat Auburn because of desire to stop this madness.
 
Saw Joe last year at the UF game. I was with my buddy (ironically a WVU grad) and he recognized Joe in the bookstore... I couldn't pick him out of a lineup, but my buddy was impressed... .. anyhoo...

I think he pretty much hit the nail on the head and I could not agree more. This is a critical time for our program and there's a good chance Mal could screw us up for good by settling for a mediocre coach. <sigh> It's kind of a helpless feeling...
